Morning all

This week's task is to put together procedures and forms for Controlling Contractors on site.

I want to cover legal responsibilites, selection, supervision and a simple permit to work system.

Most contractors we use are for building maintenance and IT needs.

If anyone has any advise or other help they would like to pass along it would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!

PS Happy Halloween!

As there are no responses and this thread is likely to drop off the page I will try to assist you. The procedures would need to be specific to the work or site location. However, if you are still looking for some generic documentation that you can 'tweak' email me direct and I will dig something out - ray.rapp@blueyonder.co.uk

Regards

Ray

I have some documentation that may help

Lorraine, this is a f.a.q. on the Forum. You should use the on-site search tool.
A Google trawl thru' some of the larger institutions and public bodies/ Local Authorities will find you some Procedures available for scrutiny. I won't give you a particular web address - last time I did that the website of the Further Education Establishment crashed!
