I have been asked to produce a monthly theme regarding health and safety issues.
The themes are to have a memorable title which would be easily recognisable to the relevant health and safety topic.
I would be grateful for any ideas of titles which could be used.

Mark,
I'm no good at snappy titles, so I won't even try. However, on the monthly safety topic - When I was in the UK I had to come up with 10 a year for 8 years. I found that the best received topics were ones that really interested people. We did that best by making it more personal and relating safety at work to safety in real life.
You want to talk about chemical safety ? Go to your local supermarket or DIY centre. Buy some of those "domestic use" nasties. Now check the COSHH sheets.
Now try this question : (providing you are not on a chemical plant) "What is the most dangerous chemical you will ever come into contact with ? And, in your home, where is it stored ?"
I'm sure you can come up with a few answers there, but it often comes down to the drain cleaner stored under the kitchen sink.
Guess what the next question is.
"Last time you used it. Did you read the fine print ? And did you wear gloves and safety glasses ?"
I'll leave you to research the probable effects of a drop of drain cleaner in your wife's/husband's eye. Also the necessary first aid treatment.
Do the same for slips/trips/falls,(polishing UNDER the mat is a well known remedy for mothers-in-law). Ergonomy/RSI (have you used a vacuum cleaner on the carpets, or cleaned the windows lately ?). Manual handling (carrying that vacuum cleaner up and down the b****y stairs). Road safety (see thread on reverse parking), Treatment and reporting of injuries (what do you do AFTER you have cut your finger opening a tin of cat food ?)
Oooh, I could go on ! (and I sometimes do, for days.)
But I'm sure you get the idea.
