I have been asked to update our safety management manual and I know this is a big ask - but what should be contained in a "safety management system manual" i.e. how should it read - I don't mean what are the parts of the system (HSG 65), more what detail should they give - my view is that it should read like a safety procedure and detail the standard required giving detail on how each area is "managed" and not how it is "done" and not contain detail on everything about the subject ?? I would like what is out and see some examples of a safety management system their rather than re-invent the wheel, so (in the words of the supermarket) every little helps. Thanks
