My company are considering the placing of rubber matting on the rear of curtain sided trailers prior to loading the trailer with product. This is to meet the requirement of german transport regulations to prevent load movement during transit.
To enable our employees to do this, they must access the rear of the trailer.
Does anyone have suggestions of how to prevent them falling from the trailer, and equipment to access the trailer from ground level.
Standard platform steps are at present the only thing I can think of.
Hopefully one of my many colleagues out their has experience of this type of problem

Access issues for Trailers have been around for some time, ideally the solution is to keep them off the Trailer all together,if not then there are hide away steps that fit beneath the trailer ,some suppliers will have them in stock.
Why does the Driver need to get access ?
The Aussie Transport operators have the same issues try
