Posted By Paul Leadbetter Paul Laptops should not be used for extended periods unless the users are provided with a means to separate the screen and keyboard. Either a separate screen or keyboard (or both) should be provided; docking stations are a good way of doing this as it eliminates the users having to plug accessories in (which some may find irksome). Posted By Neil Koskie Hi Paul The DSE regs apply to laptop users as it does with desktop users. There are however additional risks to regular users of laptops. Extensive research has been carried out by the HSE which can be found at: http://www.hse.gov.uk/re...rr_pdf/2000/crr00304.pdf Hope this helps Neil
