Wondering if anyone can direct me to any guidance ?
We have within our Depot a 'wash-down' gantry thats used as access when washing down HGV's etc etc. Ive been tasked with co-ordinationg the design and installing of a replacement steel staircase (to access the gantry).
Ive trawled through mountains of websites, including the HSE's but cant seem to find any documentation relating the dimension/angles/overlaps of the respective treads and risers.
Help !!!!

Try looking at Building Regulations [Part K, I think]
This gives the max/min dimensions etc
[or it did when I was an 'Engineer']

Risers 170mm high & 250mm depth
The above are DDA recommendations
