Posted By Mark Eden If you need a copy of a Pre-Tender or Pre-construction H&S Plan I presume you have not acted as a PS before. Therfore I also presume the Client has/is not complying with Reg 6(1)&(3) of the CDM Regs. If you have not acted as a PS before I would suggest you get yourself a copy of the CDM Regs 1994 ACOP and read the relevent sections before you incur the wrath of the HSE when things go pear shaped.

Posted By Joanne Corr Hi Mal, I have experience in writing Pre construction H&S plans too and would be interested in seeing what information you provide as I feel part of our plans may e lacking a little. Any guidance would be much apprecitated.

Posted By Roland Crane In agreement with Mark. I would advise that all people entering the role of Planning Supervisor look at the competency required. Also, i would advise that you check the limitations of your PI insurance, as this does not always include cover for this work. When i first applied for PI insurance, i asked the question of whether the insuarance covered my work as Planning Supervisor, and was told it did not! I then had to provide evidence of construction qualifications/experience to the Underwriter before this cover was granted. This is only my experience and advice, and is not intended to deter people from assuming this role.

Posted By Bill Fisher Have a look at the following old Thread: http://www.iosh.co.uk/in...iew&Forum=1&Thread=15398 It was looking for similar info. Your main focus should be on the CDM ACoP around para 243 and Appendix 3. Bill
