Posted By Alan Murphy I was recently asked if it was written down anywhere that when a fork lift driver gets to 40 they have to be given a medical can anyone tell me if this is just myth. Thanks for any reply in advance Regards Alan

Posted By Andy Ridings Hi Alan If you have a look in HSG6 (Safety in Working with Lift Trucks) in appendix 2 it covers the medical standards for lift truck operators. It states in there that lift truck operators should be screened for fitness every 5 years from the age of 40 Regards Andy
