Posted By Bill Fisher The request for electronic (etc) copies of documents, such as British Standards, is a breach of the Acceptable Use Guidelines as these are documents protected by copyright. The Moderators view this particular request, as a request for a "briefing" or a "presentation" and as such the AUGs have not been breached! However, should anyone consider sending a copy of the Standard, or indeed make use of such an electronic document, they should be aware that IOSH will support any action the copyright owner may pursue. Posted By Robert Kingston Thanks Bill that should ensure I don't get any responses. Try being in the middle of west Africa obtaining information to ensure scaffolds are erected safely and you might appreciate "a friend in need" etc and as you rightly state, I have not breeched site guidlines

Posted By Des Daly Robert, I am chairman of the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation's ( NASC) Health and Safety Committee and may be able to give you guidance etc. without breaching copyright. What exactly are you looking for? Are you looking at traditional loose tube and fitting scaffolding or system type?
