Posted By GeorgeT Would appreciate any advice re fire risk assessment regarding fire evacuation travel distances in large retail outlets / trade warehouses particularly in view if pending FRRO in April 06. Any advice / source of information gratefully received.

Posted By Ken Taylor You could try asking your question on the FireNet Fire Safety Forum. It all gets a bit complicated with the larger retail premises where a number of factors need to be considered.

Posted By Frank Hallett Hi George This is not a suitable topic for a brief response on this Forum and I shall simply advise you to get Approved Document B [of the Building Regs] and work your way from there - and don't forget the application of the DDA either. My advice is that you don't wait until April but get to grips with the annual shop-staff perception that the Xmas stock is somehow exempt from the normal rules that apply for the rest of the year! If you really need help, drop me an email. Frank Hallett
