All I recommended / suggested was that we need the following :

1. Health risks could be eliminated due to irritability,depression,headaches,nausea etc in the room if we could provide appropriate ventilation in sterilization room.

2. Arrange to FIX/INSTALL a door lock security scanning device onto the door leading from the patient waiting area to restrict access and control unauthorized visitors entry into the ward.

As there is a budget restrictions and no funds available how do we handle the recommendations.

Hi Uday;

Just what sort of sterilisation room is it that doesn't comply with the Workplace [Health, Safety & Welfare] Regs?

Please either expand on this posting or drop me an email with more detail and I shall attempt to respond in due course. There's no money in the NHS!
