Hi all, wonder if any of you, were in my shoes at one time or another!

Being in my first Senior Management position (recently appointed), I now have to conduct a 10-15 min strategic presentation highlighting company H&S objectives for the coming year. I am looking for a copy of a similar presentation if possible.

Now, I don't really want to steal or use someone elses strategic objectives (I have my own ideas & objectives to set), but to gain an insight on how others conduct (what I and most of us feel) an extremely important task thus bringing value to the business/corporation (or whatever) whilst at the same time, keeping Safety at the top of the management agenda.

Yours in anticipation

Alex

Going by the number of hits on threads generated after this one, many practitioners must be directly bypassing this subject - is it got to the stage that H&S management presentations are deemed so boring, that readers will avoid looking at the subject!

Not boring Alexander!

It's just that we seem to revisit this topic in a range of essentially similar guises far too regularly.

May I suggest that you consider [with due regard for copyright etc] taking a look at the IOSH Safety for Senior Execs or Directors programmes and then at what you want to achieve.
