I started a new job recently as Safety Advisor for a Local Authority. Lots of work to do, not enough hours in a day. I am therefore seeking some help towards putting together a policy and procedures for cash handling. This is for indoor work (Customer Service Centre) and for public car parks. If anyone out there has such a policy and is willing to provide some pointers, I would be most grateful to hear from you.

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

You appear to be working for a LA whithout its own e-mail network (.gov.uk) - most unusual!
In your new post, time would be well spent on a 'Google' of other LAs, including Leeds, Norfolk, Wyre Borough to name but a few, to see what they have been kind enough to put in the public domain. Many wheels may not need reinventing!
Others in your position may be bound by intellectual property rights where the info hasn't been publicly posted.
