Posted By Pierre de Carteret To try and assist the FTA & CIA to restart the regional conferences / meetings on the above, I would be interested to hear from anybody who would be interested in attending such in the NW area. Have you been involved in one in the past? We would like to have a frank and open debate about the subject and its surrounding issues. Do you have such in your regional area? If not, why not? Interested to hear from Fire Service, Police, Council ER planning, Transport Operators, Recovery Operators and DGSA's etc

Posted By Pierre de Carteret At the moment no date has been set due to the speed (or lack of) from the CIA. We have a meeting in London to discuss the contents etc but thats not until mid Feb. At this point it's more about who would be interested in attending - hopefully the day would be low cost, with the aim being to promote better co-operation between those responsible. Even the subject of whom is responsible is debatable at this point! The more interest from other parties, the more pressure I can apply to the CIA to get things sorted. Grateful for anybody spreading the word and asking why they don't have one in their area!! Regards,
