I'm interested in your experiences in grappling with the 'floor-so-rough-you-need-shoes-to-walk-on-it':'this-is-the-best-that-can-be-done-if-barefeet-are-the-norm' dilemmna. I'm beginning to think there's a Catch 22 waiting in view of the need to satisfy the barefooted (the patient) and the ...erm...footed (the staff). Can the two be satisfied?
