Hi

Can anyone recommend a suitable Environmental Management Reference Manual, I'm looking for an environmental version of something like the Health and Safety manuals produced by Jordans and Croners etc. All suggestions welcomed as I am finding it a little difficult sourcing something that is both comprehensive and reasonably priced!

Many thanks

Dave

I've found IOSH's own guide quite good- it may be too basic for some I suppose....

In all honesty mate if its just a reference manual you cannot go wrong with the NSCA (National society for Clean Air and Environmental Protection pollution hand book about £40 which is updated annually

Essentials of environmental management by Paul Hyde and Paul Reeve Published by IOSH

This greatly helped me with my IEMA Memebership Assessment two years ago.

Thanks for all the responses.

I have now purchased a copy of the 'Pollution Handbook' piblished by the National Society for Clean Air and Environmental Protection as recommended by Dave Wilson. Its a fantastic reference manual and comes at a fraction of the price of many of the others around. Thanks for the recommendation!
