Posted By Chas My understanding is that since it appears that the employees are to be 'representing' the company, an injury resulting from the activity would probably be regarded as an industrial injury. I believe there are Industrial Tribunal cases where police personnel have claimed Ind. Inj. for injuries sustained whilst playing for police football teams. This would therefore have implications regarding the payment of ind. inj. pay or sick pay. Hope this helps.
