We are currently installing anti fatigue matting in our work place. I have some reservations about what it claims it can do.
Has anybody out there installed this in their workplace I would welcome any comments good or bad.
My concerns are with the maintenance and especially cleaning
Thanks

I have introduced anti-fatigue matting into the workplace and found that the quality varies greatly between types and suppliers. It can be very effective but is difficult to manage in that it gets damaged easily and can cause a trip hazard or other problems.
In the particular situation I have encountered personnel had to pull trollies around the production floor and occasionally over areas where this matting had been laid and it made this task more difficult. It also tends to curl up at the ends and can cause a trip hazard.
The key is where possible to have it fixed to the floor to avoid damage and the creation of trip hazards and have it situated where personnel are standing for longer periods but not wanting to pull trollies etc over it.
