Posted By lewes Im currently looking at DSE and someone has said that there used to be a minimum recommended size of desk. Is this true and what is it ??? I havent yet ordered the DSE regs but will be shortly ??? Thanks for any input

Posted By Ron Young There is no minimum, however the desk must be suitable for the work being undertaken i.e. large enough for the range tasks performed.

Posted By Ron Impey The now superceded BS 7179:Part 5:1990 recommended a minimum desk size of 1200 mm by 600 mm, although 1600 mm by 800 mm was preferred.
