Posted By colin I know the information is somewhere but I cant find it at this moment so forgive me this once. Do you have to have 5 years "post" certificate (level 3)experience to achieve techi.iosh ? Or does over 5 years "pre" qualification count ? all I can find is this (at the moment) which doesn't clearly state either way........... "Students successfully completing these programmes who can demonstrate at least 5 years in a health and safety role will be eligible to apply for Tech IOSH".

Posted By Jane Ling Hi Colin I had the same query and contacted the membership department direct. After forwarding a copy of my Certificate and details of my experience I have been successful in being upgraded to Technician Member. Good luck. Jane

Posted By Robert K Lewis Colin If you go to the Sitemap link and click on "membership categories" and then under the Affiliates heading you will see a link to the Memebrship Structure diagram - follow this link. In the bottom left you will see that the 5 years can include pre-qualification years. Bob
