Hi

My company are currently looking to Install a HVOF Thermal Spray booth, within an existing METCO spray booth, has any one any experience of setting up such a facility?

I am concerned about the Noise Issues (apparently HVOF reaches 130dB), the Hydrogen and Oxygen Bottle Banks (Approx 24 H2 Cylinders and 12 O2 cylinders) that are required (currently the company are proposing that these can be sited in a small building in the car park and the Environmental Emissions (is a Part B Licence required for the exhaust stack, or is the HEPA filtration sufficient to remove all the overspray.

If anyone has such a facility in operation I would be interested in seeing it working.

Thanks

Thanks for the links Rob,

I have now been contacted with the opportunity to see a working installation, and this will assist me in the risk assessment process.

Thanks for the help.

Regards

Richard
