Posted By Michael S Ward During a visit to one of our premises by a couple of LA EHO's, no major issues found and only a couple of very minor items picked up, one of them made the following statement regarding safety footwear "of course you realize you are also responsible for replacing the laces for safety footwear", which all though the obvious logic of what was said is not an issue, it just seemed that of all the other H&S issues that are curently being highlighted, this statement seemed a bit asinine and OTT. I am just curious to know if I'm being a bit paranoid or if anyone else has had similar 'useful statements' made by enforcing officers?
