Posted By sylvia Arran. Indeed. Peculiar comments made by the spokesman about the function and remit of a coroners court! This is an interesting article, all the more so in the light of the Feb SHP item about a barrier at Salford University. Serious injury, fines & costs £70,000. I have heard of a few others in my time, and am now wondering just how prevalent these barrier incidents are - they have been treated as "local small tragedies" and therefore not always noticed in the wider world. Anyone know?
