Posted By NatashaL Sorry my message sent before i was finished typing! Hi I have been asked to create a legionella management system for our workplace, i have very little knowledge on where to start on this. I have just ordered a copy of the ACOP L8 (Control of Legionella) but was wondering if anyone had any management systems in place that they would be willing to share so i have a better insight to this subject. Thanks Natasha

Posted By Simon Carrier Natasha We recently have used Rentokil Hygiene to assist with just a system. They carry out a survey of your site and identify all water services and advise what controls need to be implemented. They provide a comprehensive report of your systems, imho well worth a phone call. Where are you based if in SW I have details of local rep. Simon

Posted By garyh HSE used to send out a questionaire re your Legionella Management Systems, you used this to self assess and ID any gaps. It is a useful tool in conjunction wuth the ACOP to find out what you need to do. Be cautious in going straight to a company who will have a vested interest in "managing it for you".
