Friday question, Just for fun.
Having scanned through all the forums and read pleas for help on assignments and regarding referrals why are so many of us still so intent on studying through the NEBOSH route ?
Are we so blinkered that we do not consider other alternatives or are we still stuck in the NEBOSH is better than anything else snobbery rut?
( This is in no way a criticism of NEBOSH, Just an attempt to spark a lively debate).

Are we so blinkered that we do not consider other alternatives ?
Or is NEBOSH just one of the most recognised, by joe public/managers, not forgetting availabilty, cost and support etc.

Good point but with so many comparable or equivalent courses out there it really is a buyers market! How easy is it for most people to realisticly justify X thousand pounds for the new level six diploma to their manager when there is a 60- 70% failure rate????

such a high failure rate because people think this subject is easy! but its not, and a level 6 is degree standard so if you have done a two week or 6 months 1 night / week at night school CFE for Cert etc and then expect, with no experience to do a degree in the subject, you are having a bubble!
