Wear safety shoes - I wore mine to The Who in Glasgow 2000 and I was one of the few who didn't hobble out with "Pogo'd Toes" syndrome!
As for earplugs - a tee shirt,bad body oddur and four day tinitus is part of the experience!

Hi
A small ruck sack/back pack is a good idea too. It stops people getting too close behind you. And if you start pogoing, it really keeps a space clear!!!

Enjoy it while you can, in April 2008 when the new noise regs apply to the music and entertainment industry the band and most of the road crew will have exceeded their weekly exposure limit at the sound check.
