Posted By Jim Walker Not sure if anyone else has see these http://www.millerfallpro...tep%20Single%20Sheet.pdfBut I thought they were a good way of minimising the risks of suspension trauma. Of course they are not much use if the victim is unconscious due to the fall. Anyone know of a UK supplier or UK equivalent?

Posted By Jason Hough Jim,
I have some simular strap type devices fitted to our maintenance staff safety harnesses. These are made by the harness manufactures DBI Sala and avaliable in the uk through their agents. They are only cheap around £15 if I remember. I agree if you were knocked unconcious then they would be useless but if a fall occured at height and they could be used then the benefit of having them is a positive.
Hope this is of use to you Jason

Posted By Derek Holt Save your money. Use an ordinary 240cm round tape sling, does the same job at a fraction of the price and can be rolled up into a pouch/pocket.
