It merely states that the frequency of inspection and testing depends on the type of installation, its use, etc. Can anyone confirm Helen's response about annual inspection and testing? Paul

Posted By Helen Horton Hi Paul I think I can confirm my own previous posting, as luck would have it I have been doing a bit of clearing out and have come across some presentation material from Zurich's electrical inspection team that I went to a couple of years back. It includes a table from the 16th edition Wiring Regs on Frequency of Inspection. Commercial premises are quoted as requiring testing every 3 years and "special installations" like petrol filling stations every year. I think that as the premises I used to work in handled HFLs we followed the advice re petrol stations as it was all Zone 1 electrical installations.
