Posted By Con.. I need to convince a board of directors who work on a voluntary basis for an organisation that employs 150 staff that they need to take on board the H&S law. What court cases are out there that I could use as a scare tatic and to reinforce the need for them to protect themselves?

Posted By Chris Packham Have you given each of them a copy of section 37(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act and explained what this means, pointing out that a number of directors are now in gaol through ignoring their responsibilities. I have found that this concentrates the mind quite well!
