Hi all,
can anyone help me locate (hopefully free) pictoral hazard sheets that i can use during a training excercise for hazard identification, i have a few but these are tending to become very repetetive.
Thanks in advance

Hi
I've not done it recently, but in the past I took my own photos in the workplace with a Polaroid and used them as a training aid in the actual work place. Give the attendees a marker pen and get them to highlight the problems, they are often surprised at how many there are. Down side of this is you can only use them once.
In these days of digital cameras the picture can be printed out A4 and used like that. You will be amazed how many potential problems there are in a relatively small area of just about any work place.

Currently, I am undergoing some training in the field of hazard and risk assessment.I do believed that it will be good for you to look out for the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR on safety and health.www.msha.gov.
You will be amazed to discover that there are a lot of informations that will help you.
Also, the canadian health and safety administration will also be of vital help to you.
Lastly, you can think up something that will be of great importance to you by the looking up to th previous ones and try to re-asses them.
Like the teacher-type-thing.
Remember, is all about looking at the different ways in which hazard in the workplace could be spotted and corrected.

I would recommend what JOHN did, when you shoot your own in house hazards or risks taken photos it will be much closer to the attendees minds because its from their own working environment and with equipment and places they work in every day, and yes they will be amazed to find out those hazards in their working place.
cheers
