Good Afternoon Everybody,
I'm Phil. This is my first thread as I have just become a technician member and registered on the site.
I'm looking to kick off some DSE self assessments with staff and wondered if there was any one with a good form i could use for the self assessing and follow up risk assessments should they be required.
Any guidance on this will be gratefully recieved.

the one within HSE L26 (page 61>) is as good as any. You may wish to expand on the 'further actions' bit in order to make sure any remedial actions are effectively managed.

If you anticipate conducting DSE and other kinds of risks of mustulo-skeletal disorders due to cumulative or sudden traumas, for some time ahead, I'd v. strongly encourage you to invest in understanding the ergonomic research and principles that underpin the HSE Regulations in these areas.
The best British writer in this area is Steve Pheasant, an ergonomist with a great talent for clear writing and a history as an erpert witness and trainer of osteopaths (and other ergonomists).

Thanks very much for the quick replies. I've got more than enough to work with now.

Hi Phil
You could employee a Ergonomic Assessor to carry out your workstation assessments for you.
