Posted By Tony Brunskill Moderators, Any chance of a link from each thread that allows people to report abuse? Failing that at least a link from the main forum pages. See Safe Ladder Platforms. Blatent advert and from the video on the website they do not look that safe to me!! Tony

Posted By J Knight Do you know, I agree with you. Other forums have an 'alert a moderator' button (visions of flashing lights and sirens in IOSH towers while ever alert moddies assume crash positions), and the 'safe ladder platforms' does look very much like an ad to me, John

Posted By Merv Newman It seems that this advert has been tacked on to a number of threads - those on ladders and step ladders particularly. That gentleman (maybe lady) requires a severe (something or other, remember the aug, merv)

Posted By anon1234 I agree - these are blatant adverts and are on a number of threads - whay haven't the moderators acted yet? Personally I also agree that there appear to be some obvious concerns about the kit from a H&S perspective.

Posted By J Knight I just looked at the vid; if any of our workers were using such a thing I'd want to know why, may as well stand on a couple of planks on a trestle, John

Posted By garyh Back to the original thread, there appears to be no way to contact the moderators to report abuse, or to report or complain about the rude comments made by some people. To those who post terse or rude comments - ask yourself would you do it if you had to say it face to face? If the answer is no, then don't post it. Thank you.

Posted By Neal Clark Tony, Many thanks for the suggestion, I agree that a facility for forum users to report breaches of the Acceptable Use Guidelines would be a real benefit. I'm sure our moderating team would appreciate the odd tip-off! I will look into some possible options, and hopefully this is something you will see on the forums in the future. Thanks again, Neal Clark, Web Co-ordinator.
