Posted By LTN Do First Aid rooms have to contain a sink with running hot and cold water? I'm deciding if one of our meeting rooms could become a First Aid/ Meeting room. I know it's dual purpose isn't best practice but it would be a lot more convenient than our current First Aid room for more minor treatment and rest purposes. It hasn't got a sink in there (being a small meeting room) so will that stop me from making it into an alternative First Aid room?

Posted By LTN Thanks Mike. Hmm. 'Typical' doesn't mean 'necessary' though does it?! We can include bottles of sterile water (and a small basin?)in the first aid cabinet should it be needed. As well as the other items. As this is a secondary room, it would only be used for very minor concerns, anything requiring serious attention would be treated in our primary first aid room. I just want to be able to put a sign saying First Aid Room on this door and so far no one is telling me specifically that I can't. So maybe there is flexibility there? LTN
