Posted By Jim Walker Following on from another thread. Dave Wilson comments that the new (later this year) Asbestos ACOP will require all construction site people to undergo asbestos awareness training. I don’t want to get involved in a discussion about this being correct or not, but it seems a damn good idea to me. Does anyone know of a course that is “approved” by the CITB and (IMPORTANT BIT) can be added to the list on the back of those CSCS cards?

Posted By Dave Wilson Jim, You would be strongly advised only to use a training provider which has signed an agreement with the HSE to the course content and syllabus to provide this, these training providers are availble on the HSE www under the asbestos section. If you want to eamil me I can let you know what it entails
