Posted By Robert K Lewis There is a formal training programme under SCOTVEC for the NRSWA and one of these is for Supervisors. A card is issued as evidence of competence. If you need the training let me know as I do know of at least one good trainer within the industry. Bob

Posted By W S Irving Hi We have guys with NRSW qualifications but not sure this actually covers high speed raods such as motorways etc. I have been told there is anther qualification we need but having trouble finding out what it actually is. Cheers

Posted By David B For TTM on high speed roads, have a look at National Highways Sector Schemes 12A, 12B and 12C for all training requirements for operators and supervisors. At present most of the training requirement is for operatives, however, supervisor training is I believe being addressed at the moment for inclusion in the relevant sector schemes. Have a look at the UKAS website which should have links to the various sector schemes. Regards DrB
