Posted By liamdale A consultation for people who work in the telecoms sector who have engineers who work with optical fibres and the hazardous shards they produce etc,perhaps we could share ideas with best practise and the like.

Posted By JEFFREY SMITH Whilst not being directly involved in the process, here they do a job and clear up afterwards using a vacuum cleaner (I nearly said hoover and broke copyright..). The resulting full bag of fibre optic cut-offs is then classified as hazardous and disposed of as such.
