A consultation for people who work in the telecoms sector who have engineers who work with optical fibres and the hazardous shards they produce etc,perhaps we could share ideas with best practise and the like.

Whilst not being directly involved in the process, here they do a job and clear up
afterwards using a vacuum cleaner (I nearly said hoover and broke copyright..).
The resulting full bag of fibre optic cut-offs is then classified as hazardous
and disposed of as such.

Thanks for that Jeff but if you are not directly involved in fibre optics then how do you end up with the fibre shards?
