Does anyone specific policies on the employment of agency workers, and their limitations.
What if they dont speak english and you send them packing, because they would not be able to work alone, do you break discrimination legislation?

Anwar.

Don’t remember the full details, but a recent case was reported where a small company (builder’s I think) advertised for an office person and stipulated they must be able to speak English, as had to communicate with customers. The requirement was found to be a qualification needed to fulfil the duties and not discrimination as did not specify had to be English/Male or anything else.

Brian.
