Posted By Derek Holt Colleagues, I am looking for information related to incidents relating to UXO (UnExploded Ordnance) being encountered during construction works anywhere in the world. In particular any incidents that have resulted in actual injuries/fatalities to construction workers or as the result of construction activities. I am trying to ascertain frequency of occurence. Any incident summaries would be appreciated.

Posted By Smiff Frequency is a factor of location, and a desk study prior to construction should establish the likelihood of encountering UXO,and whether you'll need a full report and specialist assistance with GPR etc. Firms like Bactec might be able to help.
