Hi Lewes,
Yes we are still allowing the Friday Rant providing it remains within the confines of the Acceptable Use Guidelines. It is the opportunity for a more light hearted view of health and safety and helps to set us all up for the weekend.
Please post away and help make the moderators enjoy a smile or a laugh.

Interesting this - I have just heard it mentioned on the Jeremy Vine show on BBC Radio 2. I don't know if it is something to so with the name Jeremy, but Vine appears to be turning into a Clarkson clone...

Danger Ladies'n'gents - have a look at the story posted by Chris, above - there is a link to the BBC Devon message board where there is a discussion going on right now (litigous/nannystate/blame culture etc) and a link from there to another discussion on a food messageboard.
Any or all of us can post a comment - why not get in there? It might just be an opportunity to point out that safeguarding people's health in a sensible way and being scared of litigation are NOT the same thing.
And maybe show some people out there that there are elfnsafety clipboardy types who are actually quite sensible!
