Posted By Alan G Hi I was hoping that someone might be able to help me, It has been brought to my attention that we have an employee that suffers from Tinnitus. Do any of you know if working on a phone all day (in a call centre) will make their condition worse? We are currently looking into a better head set to suit there needs, but I would be great full if anyone could give me some clear guides or point me in the right direction. Many thanks Alan

Posted By Lilian McCartney Hi Alan, It's one of these cases where the individual needs differ. Info on nhs direct website gives general info on tinnitus and it implies that other noises can make the tinnitus less noticeable. Discussions with person, Occ health, EMAS should give tips on way forward.
