And there are no employees of the landlord working in the building, except a cleaning contractor once a day. Is the landlord responsible for the training of his tennants personnnel in the use of said fire fighting equipment?

Posted By 9-Ship Not the landlords responsibility, he is not the employer of the employees working for the tennants - these are usually employers in their own right. You will need to check the lease contract for who is responsible for the fire equipment within the rented area of the building - usually it is the tennant, with the landlord usually only taking responsibility for the common areas (foyer etc) of the building and the building wide fire alarm. There should be adequate consultation and communication between the landlord and his tennants.
