Why oh why does the cost of NEBOSH courses vary so much.
Courses I have looked at varies from 350 to over a thousand pounds.
Lets hear your stories

In house training from a training provider runs at 75 - 150 a day, so a 5 day course could cost up to £750 intensive excluding study materials and exam papers and NEBOSH examination fees
Long distance or evening courses can cost from as little as 200 as there is no need for inhouse rooms, organisation, trainers and resources. Also most adult education type courses run by colleges etc will be part funded by government schemes.
Also based on pass rates etc....

Descarte,
Not anymore. Learning Skills Council formally Further Education Funding Council (FCFC))funding has been withdrawn for courses such as the NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing and Working safely courses.
This should therefore go some way to equalize prices across the country.
Regards.

Hi folks
...but some colleges can access ESFunding which reduces the price too. In light of the above post I am not sure if this is coming to an end soon?? There still is some funding for the Dip and NVQ 4 & 5 up my way.
