Posted By greg Just a query for the forum. Has anyone experienced Manual Handling training in house for an Oil company in terms of site specific training to the full task involved for tank drivers? Is there exact methods to perform carry/pulling method for a hose full of oil? I am conscious of the fact many drivers would have their own styles developed over many years of delivering oil products. Can anyone offer advice or tell me where i could find more information on this??

Posted By Fitzy Hi Greg, Thats a really interesting question! I have e-mailed you directly!! What we have done is got the manual handling trainer to make the training more specific to the job itself and introduced aids to minimise the manual handling, such as waist high holsters etc. Good Luck.
