Posted By Phil It depends on where the dive is taking place. Is it on a vessel, installation or a civils site? If a vessel its basically a lock out tag out confirmation, including: Intakes propulsion systems outlets cathodic protection systems using impressed current etc, etc, etc. Permit should also include confirmation of Alpha flag flying at work site, methods of communication (VHF channel etc) start and finish time of permit. Posted By Salus a read throught The Diving at Work Regs 1997? and the 5 (commercial inland/inshore,Media,Commercial offshore,Recreational and scientific/archaeological) ACOP's might be of some help, you could also give a call to the HSE diving operations stratergy team,if still there at HSE Southwark Bridge, number used to be 0207 717 6763
