Hi,
I work for a small company that is currently home-based but are expanding. As such we are looking to well document everything possible to do with Health & Safety.
However, one thing for us that seems to be a bit of a grey-spot for us is home workers. And more specifically than that, home workers who are sub-contractors of ours.
What I woul like to know, is to what extent we are responsible for their H&S? They work for us on a sub-contractual basis, i.e. we pay them a daily rate, but there is no guarantee of work.
Do we still have to issue them with H&S handbooks, first aid kits, DSE risk assessments etc etc?
Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Ben
