Basically,
Amalgamate all Asi regs into one document.
De licensce TC
Training Requirement for all people in Allied building trades
Reduce Action levels / Contol Limits to 0.1 f/ml for all Asi types over a 4 hour period
Minor works to be removed and replaced by " Sporadic work of low intesty"?????
The need to haver a licnce if you only use workers on your own premises to be removed (i.e. Strippers at Power stations)
requirement to manitain DCU's annually and have evidence on site to prove
Clearance level of Fibre to change way fibres are counted WHO fibre counting method (Just ASI Fibres and not all fibres)
Whole of 4 stage clearance to be done by UKAS Analysts
Thats all I can think off the top of my head!
This may change but we wait final draft.
New Licensed Contractors Guide out on 23rd June as well

Hi Toecap.
Basically as Dave indicates though HSC have yet to make final decision as to whether to remove requirement for licenced contractor for work on textured coatings - the vast majority of consultees were against the proposed change.

The goverment (VAT on training), ARCA and their franchises,
plus bl---y consultants will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Do not let consultants fulfill this training requirement,
DO IT IN-HOUSE

ARCA do not have training franchises.
Any training you can deliver in house is always cheaper, depends on whether you have the domain knowledge or if you can comply with the training syllabus as defined in the Regs.
