Posted By fela Can anyone kindly recommend a University where I can study for the M.Sc. Occupational and Health safety Management.
I will rather prefer one that is distance learning/part time and that will not entail me writitng exams but just assignments and projects.
Thanks for your help

Posted By Richard Davison University of Portsmouth offer an MSc programme which (in my opinion) is excellent. Unfortunately, exams are included in the assessments - but I'd be surprised if you found one without exams. Definitely worth a try.

Posted By Diane Thomason In reply to Jonathan's comment - I asked about the Leicester distance learning MSc and I'm told it is no longer on offer.
They do offer various risk security / crisis / disaster management courses including MSc's, but not the H&S one any more.

Posted By Mike Shaw Following on from Diane and Fela’s postings.
I completed the MSc in H&S Management at Leicester University during 2005. The course was fantastic and the facilities beyond my expectations, but at that time, the University was relocating/re-branding the Scarman Centre and these actions 'may' have contributed to a decision by one or more of the course leaders (Fuller/Vassie) to move on.
Shame, but as i recall, IOSH maintain a list of current accredited MSc courses.

Posted By Hazel Harvey All the accredited university courses are listed in the 'about membership' section on the right hand side. All these meet IOSH's criteria for entry to Graduate Membership leading to Chartered. However, as MSc programmes they exceed the minimum requirments and are programmes which are highly regarded.
