Posted By Jeffrey Watt I am a visual person, I like to mind map and do that sort of thing to graphically manage information. To that end has anyone come across a map for the ohsas 18001 management system (Or 14000 or any of them). I'm thinking something that is concise and has punch like Beck's map of the London Underground, you can instantly see what links to what in a matter of seconds. I am thinking this would be useful for managers etc to see how the whole system links up ( or doesn't as the case may be). If no one has seen anything like this I might have a go myself. £15 a throw, £20 if you want it in colour. Roll up, roll up. Jeff

Posted By garyh The standard itself contains some simple graphical representations, how you then structure your Safety Management System will be unique to you but will be auditable against the standard? Not sure what you are actually looking for?

Posted By S.Alder I have a document that shows the inter-relationship between 18001,14001 and 9001 clauses and sub clauses. Is this what you are looking for? (all in colour and FOC). Shane

Posted By Jeffrey Watt Gary A bit like going into the local hardware shop...when you see it you will know it. We had an internal management standard for EHS at the previous place I worked. I drew out the whole thing as a cartoon (yes a cartoon like Dilbert)to serve as a graphic aid to all the different aspects of the system (Document control was a floopy disc inside a barb wire fence, records was an old Led Zepp vinyl, communication was a Town Cryer etc) This fitted on 5 pages. I was wondering if anyone had done anything like this for the whole system on one page. Maybe I should have saved this for Friday? Thanks anyway. Jeff
