We have some Dexion P90 H racking which we want to erect. Would anyone know the safe working load or where I could get the information from?

Google on SEMA - Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association - codes of practice.
installers of such rackings should be trained, competent, and hold the SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme) card.
If vertical gaps exceed 1.7 metres, then contact the racking supplier for safe working load calculations.
Some suppliers of goods do not restrict the maximum loaded pallet weights so the delivery note should always state the loaded pallet weight on it.

Teresa.
Agree fully with Glyn’s comments about training, competency etc. I have often seen companies only consider the S.W.L of each beam, and simple add the total number of beams together to get the final total. They forget about the SWL of the uprights, how the system is secured (depth of bolts in floor etc), and the dynamics of the total structure, end result overloaded system.
I don’t think I have ever recommended this on the site before, but GET AN EXPERT in. Racking is one area where I have been involved in a fatality investigation and you just cannot afford to get it wrong. Look on the Internet or trade magazine there are plenty out there to choose from. Good luck.
Brian.

Hello Teresa,
Talking from experience, SEMA will reply with a product catalogue and price list of generic advice and guidance publications. That is, if they answer you at all. Please look here ( http://www.therackgroup....tion=posts&fid=8&tid=244 ) for free advice and i shall mail you a template assessment form for you to fill in and return to me so that i can get the information for you.
