Posted By KC Our operators are required to insert a needle through a soft patch in a bottle cap and also through the small tube attached to a bag(similar to a blood bag)in order to test the media contained within. This brings the holding hand into close proximity to the needle. Does anyone know of a suitable guard/shield to protect the holding hand (gloves are not suitable for this operation) or any other suitable control measure. KC

Posted By Ali It may sound daft, but do you have to hold the bottle in your other hand ? Is it not possible to place the bottle on level ground or in some sort of "clamp" so as to avoid the risk ? Ali
